So, KARIBU ONLUS is no longer permitted to operate in Kenya under the new nonprofit laws. Nor am I, as an individual, if I wanted to act as a private benefactor.

We will certainly start again from where we left off, that is, from the nursery school with its PP1 and PP2 classes , to redo everything we did at Chakama in 2008 and much more.

Officially, it will no longer be KARIBU ONLUS. It doesn't even seem real, but unfortunately, it is true.

But the whole story of the 18 years we spent together remains, an unrepeatable story that made us grow so much.

This isn't the end of the book we're writing, it's the end of a chapter. We've learned so much, and we won't make the same mistakes again, simply due to our sheer enthusiasm, our desire to do, do, do...

We will have a different relationship with the Jilore community, more collaborative, more present, even more enterprising and certainly more responsible.

Then, as always, time will tell about this new adventure.
