the children in our schools are

PRIMARY    Std 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8

we preferred to help them by making them study at home

PERIOD 2008 - 2022

In agreement with the EFSP and under their patronage, we have chosen this form of support because it is the only one that guarantees enrollment in Nursery and Primary school courses, therefore it guarantees primary education, the foundation and basis for a future. best.

To consider that:

  1. Our supporters will always be welcome guests in our village and to reach us they will simply have to worry about the plane ticket. We take care of everything else. There are no limits, both in the number of trips and in the stay. It is clear that everything will be planned with the Management of the Center but it will be very simple, clear and transparent as it has always been our use.

  2. Adoption costs 5 Euros per month and includes school lessons and uniform but above all includes teachers' salary and maintenance costs of school facilities (water, bathrooms, maintenance and cleaning services as per the profile on the side).

  3. Bank transactions with Kenya (and beyond) have a cost, so we get a little less of € 5 but the money we send is still € 5.

  4. The basic salary of teachers is € 120 per month per teacher and € 240 for the Director   (we have 11 and they are paid with full salary even during the holiday months), while that of the service people (6) is € 80 each.

  5. Karibu waives its share of management fees, by right by law, which would be a minimum of 20% on each donation.

  6. The school runs every day and the teachers are always present. It seems obvious but in Kenya it is not. Often the teachers of the public schools are absent or on strike and this is the reason why the community prefers to come to us, because the children are always followed, from 8 in the morning until 16 and the parents can work with peace of mind. Our school is in effect a "PUBLIC AND FREE" school and is called KIBORA PRIMARY SCHOOLS

  7. The children up for adoption are those of KG 1 and 2, ie the first class of kindergarten.

  8. There is no written obligation but only a moral commitment to follow the child at least for the entire school course until the end of the PRIMARY.
